We design and manufacture our own filter test rigs to perform standard and customer-specific tests. As daily users of these stands, we have capitalised on significant feedback from our team and research activities to offer our best customers reliable and quality test benches that comply with the requirements of international test standards since 1990.
In 2011, in response to growing market demand, we decided to position ourselves more strongly and proactively in the filter test bench market. To do this, we transformed our organisation to meet the most demanding requirements of our customers. This strategy has paid off and in just a few years IFTS has become one of the world leaders in the design and manufacture of filter test benches.

By using 12 test benches and 30+ pieces of test equipment designed and manufactured by our teams in our daily activities, we can test their robustness and reliability. The experience acquired in-house enables us to offer our customers reliable, durable test benches that meet the requirements of the standards.

Filter media characterisation benches:
- filtration-compression cells with industrial filter simulation software
- compression-permeability cells to optimise the choice of filter pre-layers and simulate industrial spin-dryers

- Porometer, to evaluate the pore-size distribution of media and membranes
Wear test benches for mechanical and hydraulic components:
the expertise developed in filter testing, in terms of polluted fluid generation and control of contaminated suspensions, is used to qualify equipment such as cylinders, valves or pumps.
Cleanliness control equipment for mechanical parts and components:
Selection, validation and installation of particle pollution extraction and analysis equipment on your premises, in line with the type of parts and components you manufacture.
Particulate contaminant injection benches

CALIBRATION OF TEST BENCH MEASURING INSTRUMENTS
Our metrology department offers on-site calibration control services for instruments used on test benches, in particular for devices measuring the following parameters: pressure, flow rate, temperature, number and size of particles, level of particulate pollution.
This service is offered to our customers who manufacture filters for the aerospace, automotive and hydraulic industries, for example.
Our service includes :
- Preliminary verification of instruments
- If necessary, the dismantling, cleaning and reassembly of equipment whose parts are likely to be damaged
- The possible correction if the adjustment is possible
- The final check in case of correction
- The submission of a verification report for each of the instruments
- Certificates of the working standards we use are available on request.
- Maintenance contracts to ensure the availability of your test benches
Our Customer Support team monitors the test equipment installed internationally on a daily basis, both preventively (provision of spare parts at preferential prices, regular calibration, training) and curatively (problem solving, updates and upgrades), with the aim of optimising the availability of your test benches.
