Measurements of particulate contamination / cleanliness

IFTS is the top European Centre for the measurement and control of particulate contamination. IFTS has the capability and know-how to develop, implement and validate a full range of methods for the extraction of contaminants in all parts/components used by many industries, including the automotive, electronic, aeronautics, space, hydraulic and micro-mechanical industries.

 

·         IFTS is an independent laboratory for cleanliness analysis which can:

o    Find and validate the best extraction procedure suited to each component

o    Control and certify the cleanliness level of all kinds of mechanical, medical, aerospace and hydraulic components

o    Diagnose the cleanliness of complex parts and systems assembled in industrial environments

·         IFTS offers its clients the following specialist services:

o    Customized clean-up to any specified level of cleanliness for all components, in any quantity

o    Sensitivity testing of components (pumps, servovalves…) to particulate contamination

o    Customized training in contamination control in industrial workshops and in laboratory measurement

·         IFTS guarantees confidentiality in all it undertakes, from audits, to advice and guidance in the improvement of cleanliness in production processes in all industrial workplaces (mechanical, plastics, automobile industry, aeronautics, implants and medical fluid circuits…)

·         IFTS contributes to the drawing up of cleanliness specifications for large companies and international standards (extraction methods, cleanliness codes). IFTS drew up the international standards  ISO 16232 (parts 1 to 10) for the automobile industry, ISO 21017 for hydraulic power transmissions and ISO 12584 for aeronautics.
