Hydrocycloning

Process in which the suspension is introduced under pressure in a fixed conical container and then rotated at high speed. Under the effect of centrifugal force the large or heavy particles concentrate on the sides and progress down towards the underflow, the fluid containing the lighter or fine particles comes out of the overflow.
